Fassnight Creek Mural
Ozark Greenways approached us about the idea of partnering with a local artist to paint a mural in an under passing along one of the trails along Fassnight Creek in Springfield. Art and the outdoors are two of our main areas of focus, so we were excited to participate. The best part? The community got to participate in the painting!

Project Details
A mural artist and team of volunteers created a mural inspired by local flora.
On September 30, 2023, 85 volunteers joined Artist Linda Passeri and her team to paint this mural highlighting native flowers and pollinators found in Missouri. This mural is located in the Jefferson Avenue underpass along the Fassnight Creek Greenway Trail. This pilot project was made possible through a partnership with The City of Springfield, Springfield-Greene County Parks, and Ozark Greenways. We look forward to working together on future mural projects along our region’s trails!
